What is going on FTT Family and welcome back to another From The Top blog post! Today we are talking about a favorite amongst our community: Food! As you all know, here at From The Top, we love to eat. Making yummy dishes is  not only a delicious experience, needless to say, but having great eating habits also provided us with  the fuel that keeps us going! It’s even more important for athletes like ourselves, as a balanced diet keeps us focused and energized throughout the day. 1. 15 Minute Vegetarian Tostadas by Liz Thompson (“I Heart Vegetables”)

Starting out this list with a vegetarian friendly dish, we have these delicious vegetarian tostadas! Hearty and super easy to make, these tostadas are an on-the-go and “eat in between dance rehearsals” dream! Not only are they super quick to pack, but they are also super easy to cook, taking only 15 minutes! You can’t beat that!

  1. Blueberry Pancake Bites by Couponingforfreebies

I’m a simple woman. I see pancakes, and I click! Don’t have time to eat breakfast before class, shows or competitions? No problem! This is the first of many easy peasy breakfast dishes mentioned in today’s post that will do just the trick! These blueberry pancake bites are super easy to pack and even easier to just pop in your mouth while you’re on the move. They’re also pretty light weight, so no worries about throwing up mid-fouette (trust me, I know the feeling).

  1. Creamy Tuna Pasta Salad by Healthy Fitness Meals

One thing is for sure, you can never go wrong with a good salad dish. A lunch favorite that’s been around for years, tuna salad is a great on the go option as it keeps very well in commute. While I myself am a vegetarian, this tuna pasta salad by Healthy Fitness Meals has rave reviews of being super tasty and a quick and easy go to!

  1. Pepperoni Chips by Whole Lotta Yum

Kiss those regular cheesy chips goodbye, cause there’s a new chip in town!

  1. Chicken Gyros by Cooktoria

Now you know we had to add in this crowd favorite! Gyros is the Greek sandwich that you just can’t get enough of, and Tania Sheff (aka Cooktoria) is here to show us how to  whip up a few chicken gyros for any time of the day! This sandwich is a long competition days dream, as it is equally hearty as it is tasty. We know it will be  a go to favorite on your list!

If you are a pretzel enthusiast like I am and like to get your hands dirty with baking, these pretzels are the way to go! These Pretzel Bites are an amazing snack that will definitely hold you over until your next lunch hour! And they’re super discreet, but don’t get eating them in class though *wink wink*.

  1. Overnight Oats by FeelGoodFoodie

If there is one quick breakfast fix that I love, it is definitely overnight oats! They’re super easy to make, require about 5% effort and keep you full all morning! FeelGoodFoodie has created the perfected guide to send you on your way to being the overnight oat champion! The best thing about overnight oats is that you make them in a mason jar, which makes them perfect for breakfast at the studio!
